Webinar: Advancing broiler chicken welfare and more in The Philippines

Broiler chickens - chickens farmed for their meat - are raised and killed in much greater numbers than any other land animal. Most will suffer considerably in their short lives, raised in overcrowded conditions with bodies that have been genetically modified to grow quickly. But there are steps that can be taken to reduce this suffering.

In this webinar, Anna Cabrera from PAWS (Philippine Animal Welfare Society) will be sharing about farmed animal protection efforts in The Philippines. Anna will highlight efforts to reduce the suffering of broiler chickens through the Better Chicken Commitment initiative.

Anna has been at the forefront of animal protection work in The Philippines for many years, and we’re sure you will learn a lot from her presentation and Q&A session.

Speaker: Anna Cabrera, Executive Director of PAWS
